Do you need big crystals?
Some Crystal healing systems teach that there is a direct correlation between the size of the crystal and the area of its effectiveness. My experience has been that size is not usually a real indicator of the effective area of a stones energy, though the idea that it is is very common.
In theory Size may give us a rough guide to the ambient or resting energy field of a stone, crystal or other object
However one will probably find that in real life the energy and effectivness from a specific crystal may have little relationship to the size of the crystal. When we actively work with the stone for specific purposes we can amplify, charge and extend the field. When the crystal is a channel for the Deva and source energy supply is boundless whatever its size.
When we work with subtle energies and with Spiritual realms and beings the material physical rules do not apply . It can be convenient and comfortable to stick with known physical laws and if you have a large stone for a large job that is great, but without giving in too much to the temptation to go on about Holographic Universes and Microcosms and Macrocosms and run around muttering as above so below, You can find that the reach of energy and information is infinite even if you have only the tiniest stone or are working directly with shakti and spirit or Deva. You always can find the resources to do the needed work.
One of the areas where size does matter is in laying on of stones and then it is primarily a matter of the weight of a given stone not being oppressive . Some people are tempted by a wide expanse of chest or tummy to really pile on the rocks. I think that it is obvious that bigger is not always better.
You also want to take practical consideration of what you will be using a particular stone for Will a tiny stone get lost ? Can you carry fifty pounds of boulders with you to that job interview ?
