I don't often make recommendations for movies, let alone plaster such recommendations on the L&S boards, but the above referenced movie (there is a book as well) is a must see. 

 

Perhaps everybody already knows about this, such that I am well behind the times, as if I were breathlessly announcing the 1987 stock market crash or something, but I saw this movie last night and was altogether mesmerized.

 

Three of the phenomena cited in this movie are clear examples of magick as might be practiced by the Wicca and others, which is none other than the changing of the physical world through human thought and intent.  Yet, it is a bunch of quantum physicists describing these phenomena and offering quantum theory as a possible explanation for the existence thereof.  So, it would seem that there is a segment of the scientific community bearing down on a scientific theory of magick.  If you have not seen this movie, you are missing out, as it will be worth your while!

 

As for the book...I found a couple of online chapters if you want to whet your appitite...let's discuss this book/movie and see what you think.
