The Mercury retrogrades of 2006 are in the Water signs of Piscsses, Cancer and Scorpio . The middle Mercury retrograde of 2006 touches into the fire sign of Leo, then retrogrades back into the water sign of Cancer, so there will be a need to look below the surface of situations into our home environment and revise our sense of security.
Part of the theme, obviously, for the EIGHT year of 2006, emphasizes the outer realms of tasks, projects and dealings in our busienss world.
Pisces represents our inner sense of Self, so the first Mercury retrograde will push us to look beyond the physical to determine our value and matrix of definitions as seen through our inner self.
Cancer represents our home, family and emotional self, so the second Mercury retrograde will review our connection with people close to us and our emotions surrounding our family.
Scorpio represents our deeper sense of power and motives and alignes our inner and outer goals with our philosophy. Scorpio requires that we take a closer look to understand what truly is within. This being the last mercury retrograde of 2006 opens the door to grab hold of something of substance and that capsules our beliefs and bring this out into the world of career, business and literally bring our inner beliefs to the outer world in one way or another.
