Lesson 29: Repairing Shielding
Any type of shield that can be created can also be damaged.
In several lessons there have been some examples of how to repair specific shields
Any attack to it will damage it. And, even though a shield is usually fluid in itself, it is not self repairing. Damage will weaken the shield and will need to be repaired. If you can see your shield, they damage may appear as bruising, cracks, tears or rips. If you cannot see your shield, but can feel it, you may notice weak spots or places where energy may be draining out of the shield
Repairing a shield is done by visualizing a shower or stream of light or energy covering your shield. Use this energy and visualization, imagine the energy polishing the shield back to a smooth finish.
Be mindful of all areas of the shield, not just the area with the concentrated attack. This will weaken a shield not only in the area of attack but also in the opposite side of the shield. This is due to the movement of energy around.
Music can assist in repair as well. Any music that will give you a sense of well-being and calmness will assist you in raising your energy to repair the shield.
Crystals or stones can give aid in repairing as well as supporting a shield and supplying a specific type of energy to the shield.
Colors must be reapplied to the part of the shield you are needing to repair as well. Follow the same steps as in the Color shielding lessons that were covered earlier.
[Luna] A scenario that I often encounter during shielding is that after I create a shield, and it has survived some abuse, I have to retreat to a quiet and generally uncrowded area. Then I take a deep breath and imagine a shower of sparks flowing over me and strengthening my shield. Notice that my particular repair is a shower of light. You may prefer a stream of light or a flash of energy.
[Cherry] I generally clean my shields before repairing them, to make sure there are no contminants on the shields. Then depending on the style of the shield, I proceed to repair them. Always remembering to test the shield after repairing it.
Exercises:
1. After creating your shield, see if you can feel its?decline, imagine a stream or shower of sparks and see if you can polish it back to original strength.
2. Think of any other ways that you can repair your shield.
