Lesson 25: Shielding Spell Three
Below are a few simple spells to help shield and assist in shielding and repairing:
This is a simple spell I use to help reinforce a shield. It stands alone just fine as well.
From: Llewllyn’s Magickal Almanac 2004. It is a common invocation as well (modified by me for a shield by the first line):
This shield that surrounds me,
Of Earth, Air, Fire, and Sea,
I call upon the Rule of Three.
This is my Will,
So mote it be.
(Obviously shortened, for easier chanting into the shield repair).
Calling a deity for assistance, thankfulness, joy in play, and in gratefulness:
“Please, Wolf, give me strength to help guide.�?BR>“Thank you Crow for warning me to not go.�?BR>“I call forth Beaver to help assist me in persevering in my task.�?BR>“I sing as Cricket, ever free.�?BR>“I call upon the assistance of Horse for stamina and wisdom.�?/FONT>
Obviously, these are personal choices of mine and a couple of friends. Customization is what makes these spells most powerful; make them your own!
