Lesson 23: Shielding Spell One
Many shielding spells are specific for situations although the spells may be broad and encompass much within themselves. The following are a few examples that I have found:
Casting a Magick Circle is a shielding spell:

“I cast this circle to protect me from all harm.
I cast this circle only to attract the most balanced energies and block all harm.
I cast this circle to create a temple between both worlds.�?/FONT>
Face North (move clockwise, for the other three directions):
“To the north, I call upon the guardians of the element of earth,
Guard and guide me, Hail and Welcome.
To the east, I call upon the guardians of the element of air.
Guard and guide me, Hail and Welcome.
To the south, I call upon the guardians of the element of fire,
Guard and guide me, Hail and Welcome.
To the west, I call upon the guardians of the element of water,
Guard and guide me, Hail and Welcome.�?/FONT>
Call upon the God and Goddess, any other dieties, and light your candles/incense and anything else of your intent.
Perform your spellwork.
Release the quarters going counterclockwise:
“To the north, I thank and release the guardians of the element of earth. Hail and Farewell.
To the west, I thank and release the guardians of the element of water, Hail and Farewell.
To the south, I thank and release the guardians of the element of fire, Hail and Farewell.
To the east, I thank and release the guardians of the element of air, Hail and Farewell.�?/FONT>
Thank the God and Goddess and the powers of the spirits you have conjured. <o:p></o:p>
Move counterclockwise once:
“I release this circle ou into the universe as a sign of my magick. The circle is undone but not broken.�?/FONT>
Evoking a protection spirit for your shield:

“I (state your name), call upon the Goddess, God, and Great Spirit to protect me from all harm.�?
This can be made as a part of your morning and evening rituals to help guard your day as well as your sleep. It can be simply used in all situations.
Meditation when invoking a shield;

“I charge this protections shield to protect me from all harmful energies, both positive and negative.
I charge this protection shield to protect me from all harmful energies, both positive, negative, and otherwise.
I charge this protection shield to protect me from all harm, and reflect love back on the source of the harm.
I charge this shield to protect me from all physical harm, from all physical and energetic pollution, attacks, and harmful intentions, both of my own making and from others. So mote it be.�?/FONT>
Reaffirm this regularly during your daily meditation practice to help maintain and repair your shield.
