Lesson 15: Mirror Shield
Sometimes you go into situations where you may have a need to reflect the energy back. A version of a white/silver shield. Think of a mirror, a reflection. This is a basic defense shield.
This will work in two ways. You will reflect those emotions and energies back to the sender. This will occur naturally with any shield to an extent; but, with the mirror shield, it is complete.
Be careful when you use this shield because if a person is emitting strong negative emotions, or happens to be a psychic vampire, this can backfire into unpredictable results. The unpredictable results may not happen each time. It depends on how strong the attack is and exactly how the psychic vampire is attacking. However, in a general setting with many people, this can be advantageous to those who find it difficult to stay in public for any reason.
To create a strong mirror shield, touch your thumb and forefingers together. This will close your bodies�?energy flow. Very useful against psychic vampires, if you happen to know one, and use this shield, do expect negativity as they cannot feed off your energy anymore since you aren’t allowing it. Other psychic vampires and in general, negative people, that you may not know that you will encounter will subconsciously recognize this field and avoid you.
To create a general mirror shield, envision a light field coating your shield when you create your shield. This is the general shield. Remember, to seal good positive energy within it for you will reflect back to yourself what you feel. This can amplify just as much as sound waves will increase in an enclosed space. Think of an ‘echo�?effect.
[Luna] I choose to create this shield by ‘closing the circle�?or reconnecting my body’s energy flow. This is simply and easily done by touching the thumb and forefingers for maximum effect, but can be as simple as crossing your arms, putting your hands together or crossing your legs. I have done this to a confirmed psychic vampire and this person was so used to taking energy from me, that after I did this, she questioned verbally to me whether or not I was listening and such which I was doing nothing out of the ordinary, save ‘closing the circle.�?I did not feel drained and frustrated after that experience like I usually do after talking to her.
For the general mirror shield, I use this to deal with my anxiety in public. I think good thoughts and reflect happiness back onto me. Now, as others are getting their bad energy reflected back onto them, I can attempt to negate any negative influences (as I am already shielded and do not have to worry), by disarming them with my attitude. This is highly effective and most of the time results in my being able to help cheer someone’s day up. And the confidence I have gained enables me to just do whatever I need to do without much problem.
Exercises.
1. Practice forming a strong energy field by touching your thumb and index fingers together. Breathe deeply and feel the energy conduit closed and flowing throughout your body. This automatic shield will ‘feel�?strong and solid to you.
2. Practice forming a general mirror shield. See the mirrored reflection.
3. After creating a mirror shield, be aware of your feelings and thoughts. Become aware that they are magnified back onto yourself. Try to change any negative patterns until you can create this shield with minimal negativity.
4. Practice your general mirror shield in public in crowded situations. Notice other people’s reactions. Do you need to adjust accordingly to not hurt others or help others? Adjust and see if you can tell the difference.
Warning: this exercise it to be used only if you are prepared to give a neutral and calm response. If you do not feel ready, keep practicing the above and changing your shield’s color to a calming blue effect.
5. Practice forming the strong energy field. Note others reactions. Respond will calmness, patience, and matter of fact if necessary. Do not respond with negativity as you will only reflect it back upon yourself. Note your reactions as well. Can you stay calm in a high negative charged environment? This will take much practice.
