Lesson 14: Egg Shield
A simple shield used for when you need one that is easily maintained and accessible. Putting up and taking down an egg shield is quick and simple after practice.
Instead of you creating the shield with energy each and every time, you maintain this shield with your own breaths that you breathe out naturally. After centering and grounding, imagine any substance like silk, tree leaves, wood, cotton, just plain light or anything you like surrounding you. Every time you breathe out, you support the egg shield.
The idea is, instead of you creating it and recreating it all day, it is created by the outward breaths you make naturally. Every time you breath out, it reinforces the energy shield. In this way you don't have to 'work' at it and you don't have to drain your own energy.
Obviously this shield is good for when you are ill, or extremely stressed to give yourself some protection with minimal effort.
Beginning to create this shield, first you imagine a thin film of energy surrounding you. This film will become translucent. Then you will maintain this shield with your breaths as mentioned above.
Exercises:
1. Practice putting up an egg shield and seeing it. Immediately after seeing it, it should disappear.
2. Practice maintaining an egg shield.
Remember, practice makes perfect.
