Lesson 7: Changing the Bubble Shield to Different Colors

Depending on the purpose, you may need to change your shield to different colors with each color serving a different purpose. You may even need to combine colors, but, as the color wheel shows, be mindful that primary colors will mix. You do not want to combine colors that will mix into a shade that will not suit your needs at that particular time. This is true for if you try to make your own shade for a single shield, but this rule may not apply when working with more than one layer shield. Multiple layer shields will be covered later in the lessons.

The colors of your aura will meld with your shield as well to produce vivid results. Be mindful of that as well. Your state of mind and personality at that particular time will affect your shield. If you do not know the state of your aura, start simply with the primary colors. Then, you can gradually progress to secondary colors. Colors will also affect you mentally and physically. Bringing about changes to your body and your emotional/thinking state.

If any of this is a worry for you, or if you find your aura does affect the shield colors, you can put a buffer of pure white light between the shield and yourself. The white light will absorb the color of the aura, but also block it from affecting the color of your shield.

A list of colors is below. Primary colors are red, blue and yellow. Secondary colors are green, orange, and purple. Be mindful that the secondary colors will have a mix of both the primary color’s attributes plus their own, leaning to or away from a particular color depending on the hue and shade. For example, green is of blue and yellow, yet, if it’s more towards a blue-green, it will be more peaceful and soothing than if it were towards a green-yellow, in which it would be more bright and cheery.

Red:

Associated with the Root Chakra, Swadisthana. Red is a highly charged color, full of passion and energy. This color will help you when you need courage, are faced with adversity, and to help increase your will. This is also a color for lust/sensuality, war, strength and fear. Use this color wisely. Red also increases self-confidence, improves mental attitude; inspires enthusiasm, vitality, and assertiveness. It can normalize heart activity, promotes circulation, helps cold symptoms, neutralizes fatigue, and eases asthma symptoms.

Orange:

Associated with the Navel Chakra, Manipuraka. Orange is good when you need a boost for personal creativity, help in legal issues and dealings with career and business. It will help with ambition. Orange also stimulates happiness, fosters motivation, promotes mental clarity and balances emotions. It aids in digestion, increases vitality, promotes healthy appetite, eases lower back pain, fortifies blood vessels, sooths joint and connective tissue pain, and assists in calcium absorption.

Yellow:

Associated with the Solar Plexus Chakra. Yellow is good to help with mental activity and intellect. Learning, telepathy, astral projection and concentration are helped by this color. Yellow also reduces anxiety, encourages self-expression and a sense of freedom. It inspires happiness and communication with others and cultivates courage. It increases vitality, relieves headaches, equalizes adrenals, stimulates digestion and elimination, and helps with depression.

Green:

Associated with the Heart Chakra, Anahatha. Green is nature, growth, prosperity, luck, and rejuvenation. It is also associated with greed and envy. Green helps to increase happiness, bring luck and assist in earth magick. Green also encourages self-respect, cultivates efficiency, and creates inner harmony. It balances organ and nervous system functions, supports weight loss, relaxes the eyes, creates physical balance, lowers blood pressure, calms gastrointestinal symptoms, and promotes rest and relaxation. This is a good healing color.

Blue:

Associated with the Throat Chakra, Visudda. Blue is for calming, peacefulness, communication, sincerity and hope. Blue will help with dreams, sleep, communication, harmony, and meditations. Blue also encourages creativity, promotes speaking the truth, calms emotional oversensitivity, aids self-awareness, insulates against emotional exhaustion, encourages devotion and inspiration, and increases contentment. It also calms overactive thyroid, cools the body, lowers blood pressure, awakens the sens of taste, calms hyperactivity, and reduces edema.

Purple:

Purple is a color of justice, royalty, meditation, guidance, mysticism, and divination. This is a good color for driving away evil, contacting the spirit world, divination, enables you to rise above your problems, enables contact with the divine guidance, bounces away any lower energies, entities or earthbound spirits. It also encourages humility and humor, inspires idealism and devotion, assists visualization, promotes perceptiveness, and offers psychic protection. It also .balances bodily processes, easing headaches, protects against alcoholic overindulgence, promotes mineral assimilation, and decreases sensitivity to pain.

Indigo:

Associated with the Third Eye, Ajana. Indigo is good for meditation, transcendence, astral travel, and higher learning.

White:

Associated with the Crown Chakra, Sahashrara. Associated with purity, spirituality, peace, and clear thinking. This is a bright color to drive away negativity and to aid in transformations. This is a good color to use to go about unnoticed. White also aids in spiritual growth, promotes uplifting and expansive thinking, and fosters a sense of purity. It also soothes muscle pain, supports healing, relieves rashes and insect bites. This is the basic color that we use for most shielding if you do not wish to use other colors.

Brown and Beige:

Promotes groundedness, supports mental resilience, offers protective camouflage, and aids emotional security. It also assists in balancing hormones in women, supports weightless and physical strength, and fosters a connection to the earth.

Black:

Inspires receptivity, depth, and mystery; promotes self-control; fosters self-motivation and protection; and aids anonymity. It also promotes rest, increases physical balance, and assists glandular functions (note about black, people who see a black tinge to your energy may assume that you are not a good person, so keep that in mind if using this color.) [Cherry] A friend had come to visit, staying a week with me. She had her son who was about 6 months old. Because of being in a strange place, and away from his father, the child had a hard time sleeping. I would go to the baby and rub his back, encircling him with the color black. Within about 15 minutes, he would be sound asleep.

Gray:

Increases harmony and peacefulness, reduces stress, and aids in protection. It also strengthens physical fragility, and promotes relaxation.

[Luna] How I change colors of the shield is per my purpose. As the colors have general meanings, I will use them as to what I need to. For example, if I want to appear aggressive, I focus my aura to the red range and it will in turn affect the shield color, turning it more red. If I want to go unnoticed, I will focus more for the white colors. Learning, I will use yellow and for need to calm down, the blues.

In Lesson 11, more color meanings will be given. But, for now, use the above as a starting guide.

This makes dealing with the mundane world very helpful as colors affect everyone strongly.

Homework:

1. After creating a bubble shield, imagine your favorite color and change the shield’s color to that. Note: your favorite color may have a different meaning than the above list which is just a general outline.

2. Notice when you feel a strong emotion. Do you ‘feel?a certain color? For example, do you “see red? When a situation arises where you do feel strongly and need to calm down, practice changing the color back to a more calming one. If you feel angry, go from ‘red?to ‘blue?

3. Practice changing the colors.

Post your responses to this topic thread if you would like.
