notebooking http://www.jeanniefulbright.com/Notebook.htmlHere are some things from my notes: As a guideline, she said to notebook one page for each subject, every other week. So at the end of the year, you would have 16 pages per notebook per subject. They will be creating their own notebook for learning. Younger children through illustrations and labeling, and older ones through writing. Using: * Illustrations * Artwork * Cut & Paste * Artifacts & Objects It provides a record of learning and promotes retention. It transmits ownership of knowledge. It truly engages the child in learning. Add a page to the notebook for: * Chapters in a book * A short book * Audio books * Watching a video * Field Trip * Completing a project Supplies: * Three ring binder * Page protectors * Colored Pencils ( Prismacolor) One more thing.... Jennie Fulbright developed a spelling program to assist her son who is dyslexic. She had tried tons of spelling programs and none worked for him. So if this is an issue for you may want to check out her 'Spelling Solutions'. It is basically memorization. http://www.jeanniefulbright.com/Spellingsolutions.html |

http://gregg.angelfishy.net/ has the manuals, the old out of copywright law, online for you to save to your computer and print as needed (if you want). It has the older ones, but stll usable in todays world. Use it for notes in college or other classes, notes at lectures, sermons in church, phone messages, business meetings, personal diary, shopping lists, write that novel with it, etc. |

www.VitalNews.com has Word and Excel tips. I receive them in my e-mail. You can ask questions and a variety of people who are experts or have done that, can help. Or just read the tips and learn more. |

about www.libraryelf.com? That has saved my bacon more times than I care to admit! LOL It's a free service that will send you e-mail reminders of when your books are due. You have to have an on-line access to the library through your card and you have to give library elf your password, but then they check your library account every day and send out notices to you! Everything that is out on your card is listed in the e-mail along with the dates they are due. You can add other cards to your elf account and it will check them all! It's been a while since I signed up, but I think if you follow the above link, you can look and see if the service is offered for your library, and if it's not, you can request that it be added. |

The Internet Archive is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, we provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, and the general public. |
