I would not be without tea tree oil, eucalyptus and peppermint essential oils during cold and flu season! Here's how I use them:
Put 10 drops Peppermint, 5 drops eucalyptus and 2-3 drops tea tree oil in a cup or bowl with some olive oil as a base. Stir. Dip a q-tip in it and smear a small amount right at the base of each nostril to open up the airways. Make sure you cover this with something as it will evaporate!
Eucalyptus oil for sinuses, Ginger tea for upset tummies. Tea tree oil.
Earache drops - it's sulphur, chamomile, and something else. They're called "Earache drops."
Colloidal Silver (4074-7) as an antibiotic. It can be used to fight many bacterial infections and even sprayed in eyes for conjunctivitus. (But you have to be careful where you get it, as some brands can be harmful if not pure and lead to a condition that causes skin discoloration).
l-Lycine (1631-4) can be used for everything from a cankor or cold sore to strep throat.
VS-C (937-7 or 3167-6 for liquid) used to fight viral infections. or
Viral Recovery (8850-8)
Bifidophilus Flora Force (40880-4) Highly recommended for everyone to increase good bacteria often depleted by antibiotic use or other factors. Increases your immune system, to hopefully prevent any other types of infections from taking hold in your system.
Peppermint Oil (3910-9) Great for upset stomach. Can be put in hot water as a tea, or cold water. Or put a drop on back of hand and lick off for a quick energy boost...with the benefit of fresh breath!
On the Nature's Sunshine site, they also have informational flyers on each product available.

www.dnrinc.comQuick Draw Spray: Used for race horses...but great for humans too! Can be used for sprains, injuries of muscles, tendons, ligaments. Great to draw pain out of burns and itch out of bug bites. Multiple uses.
I also love
Airborne. You can purchase it at most drug and grocery stores. They come in tablets that you disolve in water and it fizzes. Then you drink it like alkaselzer.
For headaches, I would rub peppermint oil on your temples at the start of your headache. (1 drop of peppermint oil in 1-2 drops of almond oil or other carrier oil such as olive oil.) You can also put 3 drops in a warm bath for headaches. Lavendar or Roman chamomile can also help relieve a tension headache. Sprinkle one drop on a tissue and inhale deeply. Or put 5 or 6 drops in a warm bath.
I use "White Oak Bark" as a strep preventative, I've done so for 10yrs now and haven't gotten strep once. With all herbs, its good to have a rest period from taking them. I usually go 2wks (sometimes a little longer) without taking the WOB.
This one might sound gross...but it does work!
Onion Remedy (for coughs)
Peel and chop a onion, place in a skillet, cover with raw honey (not store bought stuff) let simmer. Strain and place in a canning jar or something with a lid (no plastic). Use as a cough syrup. I give my dc 1 tbsp every hour.
Lemon and Raw Honey water (for colds/flu)
Boil 8oz of water, put the juice of 1 lemon and honey to taste in the cup of water. Sip several cups a day.
