I am SO Tired! OMG I could fall asleep right now.
I am only up because Gracie is so naughty at bed tiem lately.
She keeps getting out of bed and talking to Chloe and hloe gets so overtired and I have to disturb her everytime I have to go in there and make Gracie get back into bed. It has been nearly every night for the last week and its driving me crazy.
So much so that tonight the second time she got out of bed I picked her up took her out of the room. Said goodnight to s and c and shut the door.
Then took everything out of Chloe's playpen and put Gracie in it. I said "From now on if you get out of bed you can lay in here on your own".
She has been in there about 40 mins now and is not asleep. She knows she is in huge trouble though and has been very quiet. Every now and then she asks to get out please but I say "NO you can't get out you have to go to sleep" I know if I let her back into her bed she will get out again so she really has to feel the consequences of her actions and I am hoping this drastic measure will work as nothing else has. I have tried calming laying with her in her bed and explaining she can not get out and that Chloe needs to have quiet to go to sleep etc, I have tried giving her a smack on the bottom everytime she gets out, I have tried taking her out of the room and putting her in time out then talking to her and putting her back to bed but she is so determined to be naughty. Gracie hs never been much of a tanty girl really but I think this is going to be her terrible two's - Ignoring me and not listening as she has been doing it so well lately.
