Am finally back home.

Sooo don't like being in hospital...Especially in MATERNITY when I'm not actually HAVING my baby. LOL.

I went to bed about 9pm on Monday night and my back was really sore, but I just thought it was from being back at work.

Andrew went to work at 9.30pm and left me with my heat pack. By 10.30pm, the pain was getting worse and continuous. By 11pm I called Andrew and was at the point where it was so painful it was taking my breathe away. Andrew called the after hours nurse and she called me and after asking a heap of questions she said I was best to go to the hospital.

So Andrew came home and his Mum came around to sleep on a mattress so we didn't have to wake Ella up.

Got to the hospital just after midnight and was seen by the triage nurse straight away. They gave me panadine forte for the pain and then I had to wait almost 2hrs to see a Dr.

They did a urine test and some blood tests and also poked around my back and decided to send me to Gosford hospital. So was transferred by Ambulance about 5am. I sent Andrew home so he could get a bit of sleep and be there for Ella.

So spent all day yesterday in hospital and then the Dr's came around this morning and said that I could go home, but I have to keep taking the full course of anti-biotics and I also have to get a ultrasound done on my kidneys just to make sure all is ok.

Am so glad to be home.

I bet you are very glad to be home!

Good you went to the hospital and can now feel at ease.

Wierd you had syptoms for so long with no stinging but like anything there is always variations to syptoms etc - just a pain you couldnt have known earlier to get it sorted before it got so bad.

Oh well hopefully all will be fine now and the kidney ultrasound will come back all clear.

So do you feel heaps better?

Yeah it is very nice to be home. Hospitals aren't the most fun place.

I know. I find it really weird that I never had the stining symptom. But I guess in a way I did drink HEAPS of water on Saturday and Sunday, so it may of masked that symptom.

But they did heaps of blood tests and urine tests and it was definetly a UTI and slight Kidney Infection.

I just have my fingers crossed that the US goes well too. They are pretty sure it should be fine as I was feeling much better today.

Just have really sore arms when I had all the needles and canula. YUCK. And I swear EVERY time I have a needle they stuff it up on me.

I swear it just popped out again in the last few days. LOL.

I feel HUGE at the moment. Feel alot more than 25 weeks. Ha Ha.

No, I only got BH right at the very end - like two weeks before her EDD. So this was very weird.

I saw my friend (who is due today) last night at Coles and she is MASSIVE. She has put on like 24kg!

I had a guess!!!

I always thought you would have two girls but I think now you will have a boy.

Partly just a feeling and partly cause Kel had a boy - I have all girls, Kel boys and odds are you will have 1 of each lol.

However I really do not like not going with my original gut - oh well its my official guess - BOY!

lol, Hayles I just HAVE to point out that your gut was wrong for me! lol lol lol!!!

Dont worry Janna, your size is probly bigger 2nd time, I looked bigger all thru with Hunter too but he came out 12oz's smaller than B!

Oh and on the weight I put on 19kg with Brandon and 16kg with Hunter! fatty I am!

How you feeling after the uti now? I hope your all healed up nicely.

Hehe well I think I guessed you will have a smaller baby this time.

Knowing my gut (as Kel so kindly reminded me) I will be wrong though lol.

I cant remember what Ella was exactly? 8lb something I know that.

I was Massive with Soph and she was my middle weighted child at birth. No one would guess little mini Gracie who looks like she hasnt an ounce of fat on her was my biggest at birth - plus I didnt look as big when preg - so odd!!!

Maybe cause you are not spewing all day this time you are gaining a little weight? Have you jumped on the scales recently?

I gained 19-20kg with each of the girls - I know exactly why too Mmmmmm food. lol

Speaking of food Jake has gone to get us Pizza now the girls are asleep hehe.

I guess I'm just worrying about my weight this time as I didn't put hardly any on with Ella. I think I put on just 9kg with Ella. But I stressed with weight with her cos I lost so much too. So either way its been an issue. LoL.

I also think this time of the year is bad. So much naughty food and soooooo much chocolate. Lol.

I'm on my last sheet of anti-biotics - should finish in the next day or so.

And then I have a Kidney Scan on Wednesday to make sure everything is all ok.

Feeling mainly well, have been drinking as much water as I can and also eating cranberries etc to make sure I don't get another UTI.

26 weeks today! Yay!

Scan today went well. My kidneys look fine again - thank goodness!!!

And the lady was so nice and gave us a good look at Bubby too. Got to see the face sooo clearly and they were blinking. hehe.
