Hello son; Just thought I would drop you a line, and say hi. Hope your 4th weekend was good. It was quiet here, no problems at all. Nothing going on but work, fixing to get alot of work done to the house in Freeport, new wiring, plumbing, fence, windows, roof, getting the garage rewired and then we are going to paint the house and garage. You won't recoginze the place next time you come down. Sandra said to say hello, we just had Raneylle's 30th birthday yesterday. Well, we may come up in August for our anniversary, just to spend two or three days, don't know yet, or we may just be painting the house at the Bar-X! Talk with you later. Love - Dad |

I need to see if it would be ok if i packed some stuff and kept it over at the bar x house. we are going to have to get out of the house and either let it go or hopefully get it sold. we are looking into getting into an apt. i just don't know how long the process will take or how much room we are going to have. let me know. thanks.

I'm off to work in a bit. It's such a horrible feeling to face having failed your child. My little girl is hurting.... and it's my fault, and so that makes me hurt. Yes, we will all "get over it"...we always do don't we. But right now I'm facing for the first time some of what I did NOT give my kids when they were growing up. And it hurts, a lot. I didn't put them first. I often didn't even think about their happiness.... not the kind provided by a sense of security from having a stable home, living in one house all of their life, having memories of "home". (I was writing this on my group... and decided to move it here. My emotions were overflowing... but they are calmed down now. No matter what path I would take with the thoughts up there.... it leads to the same place, that it wasn't totally bad for them growing up. Shanna has a situation built up in her head.. ...and it's a choice she made for herself. She's distraught about maybe losing their house....she is upset about possibly repeating the same pattern she grew up with.. us always "losing" our home and moving, a lot. Her chidlhood could have been so much worse... but, she is not in a place to see that right now. And so she has it built upin her head to be a lot worse than it really is.... except for her, it's a matter of her childhood wounds... and those are so deep they can hurt worse than anything else in life. It's fixable, it's changeable... but right now she is not in a place to see that. And so she is hurting.. and angry all at the same time. That can be too much for a person. I can only pray it does not break her. |

Hey girl, We are checking and maybe will know something later today, but I think we found a way where we can help you out on the house notes and car. So hang in there and try not to be too discouraged. We will work something out, ok? Looking forward to seeing Ethan later, haven't had alot of chances to spend time with him. Maybe we can grill again this weekend if you all ain't doing other things. Sandra has to work Saturday and Sunday, so I know I will grill one day for supper. I hope your day is better than yesterday and you feel good today, and everyday...I hope that we can get our home decorated for the holidays this weekend while we're off together. I sure wish we had gotten it painted but it can wait a little longer I guess. I would really like to go dancing Friday or Saturday to celebrate Mona's birthday.
