Mix together until smooth the cream cheese, butter, onion, milk, salt and pepper. Add 2 cups cooked chicken and mix. Separate the crescent rollsinto four rectangles, pressing the seams together. Put about ½ cup of the mixture in the center of each of the rectangles and fold the corners to the top to seal. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
