Recipe of the Week by Angel Juli Cube Steak and Mushroom Casserole Ingredients 4 cube steaks 4 tsp fat 2 med , onion , sliced (optional) 1 lb mushroom sliced 1 can cream of mushroom soup 2/3 c buttermilk 1tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 4 med. potatoes , sliced |
Procedure Brown the steaks in the fat in a skillet and remove from skillet. Saute the onions and mushrooms in the same skillet until tender. Combine the soup , buttermilk, steaks and soup mixture in a greased 2 1/2 quart casseerole, Bake at 350 for 1 hour Serving Information - Serves: 4
