It is another busy time for me. Yesterday We went out and picked lots of wild blackberries. The farmer had been into the meadow and trimmed a footpath around the blackberries so that everyone can get to pick easily. They grow all around the edge almost. We picked just over 5 pound in an hour or so.
Today I have made apple and blackberry pie filling for the freezer. I just so love blackberries.
Tomorrow, if the weather is fine I am going to pick some more and make some jam. The wild blackberries are better cropping this year than my cultivated variety....only thing is the bushes are much pricklier....
