Dice the lamb or meat of shoice. Heat 4 or 5 tablespoons of olive oil
in skillet with garlic and bay leaves. Add meat and brown. After 15
minutes add wine. Reduce the liquid and add tomatoes. Cut the peppers
in thin strips and add to meat mixture. Add salt, cover and simmer on
VERY low heat for about 2 hours. If necessary during cooking add water.
