1 box of Crispix cereal 1 cup of pecans (can be added/removed to taste) 1 stick of butter (do not substitute margarine) 1 cup of brown sugar (I use dark) 1/2 cup of dark Karo syrup
Bring butter, sugar, and syrup to a boil. Pour over cereal and pecans. Mix lightly to coat. Bake at 250° for one hour stirring every15 minutes. Pour onto wax paper and spread to cool. Store in an airtight container.
Hints: I use the DISPOSABLE aluminum pans and spray them lightly with Pam. Clean up is much easier.
Continue moving mix on the wax paper until it is cool enough not to stick (can spray with Pam to eliminate sticking).
