Honey-Roasted Peanuts Honey-Roasted Peanuts
Makes about 2 cups
Ingredients: 2 cups Roasted peanuts, skin on 1/3 cup Sugar 1/2 teaspoon Salt 2 Tablespoons Honey 2 Tablespoons Water 2 teaspoons Vegetable oil
Preparation: Mix together the sugar and salt. Set aside. Bring the honey, water and oil to a boil in a saucepan. Add the nuts, reduce the heat and simmer (stirring frequently) for 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl, season with the sugar mixture and toss well. Layer out on a foil-lined cookie sheet and allow to cool. Break apart and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
