Awaken, oh thunderous morn
this day of Spring鈥檚 renewing!
The frost has lifted, Earth鈥檚 reborn
the Winter鈥檚 dark receding.
Storms clash and winds sigh
the Lion roars its shout
This battle rages 鈥榯ween Earth and Sky
Spring charging in, Winter out.
Ending gently but beginning fast
we call for sleep to end,
O Light vanquish the shadow鈥檚 cast
To Eos our prayers we send.
The Vernal Equinox has come
The days outlive the night,
Persephone鈥檚 reign below is done
Demeter now show鈥檚 Her delight.
Oh Goddess great, giver of grain
all Winter we have been calling
Release us from the Winter鈥檚 Bane
May Your blessings be a鈥檉alling!
Rebirth has come, Spring is nigh
Gaia has now awakened.
We celebrate with spirits high
Dark days finally ended.
The children play in circle round
laughter, the smiles of youth,
We see renewal and life is found
Earth鈥檚 cycle reveals the truth!!
