I went to the Neurogolist today and after giving me a good going over and from what I told her about my" episodes" she says I'm having seizures. She don't think they will become full blown seizures. She told me at first that she didn't think I should be driving, but then consulted with an epilipsy doctor and he didn't think that it was necessary. Now I have to go get a ECG and Cat Scan done to find out what could be causing them.She said that she could put me on meds for it now or wait until after the CAT scan. I opted to wait. She also said she didn't think it was caused by a tumor or anything because of the testing she done. She told me not to climb any ladders or go up on roofs etc.... LOL. I guess I can't go up and tar the roof now. Well gotta go take a nap. I 've been up sine 4 a.m Joy. |

Sorry to hear that Joy....I guess you shouldn't fly any planes either, hahaha. Hope you feel better soon....My prayers are with you. |

I suppose the news is both good and bad.... I hope you don't have to wait long for your CAT Scan, but don't bet on it... You were wise to hold off on the medication until you know what you are dealing with.... I don't know why doctors sometimes offer meds and really they are only second guessing some symptoms...The meds , in itself, might have been an instrument is losing your driver's license.. Joy.... The word seizures can note any unusual brain wave patterns...... Don't worry just yet... You won't be the first for these symptoms to disappear.... I sure hope that will be the case with you... I am sorry for your news joy,but just wait and see,what the ekg shoes,drs are not always right. I will keep u in my prayers. I am waiting for Leo to go ,back to the dr,he will know on Thursday of his results,he had an ultarsound done on his neck,there was a lump there,I am just hoping it is nothing. |

Here's hoping that Leo's test reports will be something you are hoping for . This waiting is so nerve racking...( wrecking... what is the right word?) Thank you ladies. i don't know what I'd do without you. I'm not worried about the seizures.I was reading that sress can cause them.So hopefully if the stress ever goes maybe the seizures will too. I don't have an appointment yet for the Cat Scan but my EEG is next week Carrie that was a good point you made about the meds. I never even thought of that. I just decided to wait until after to see for sure what's going on.I hate to take meds if not needed. Betty I hope everything goes good with Leo's report tomorrow. Thanks everyone Joy |

Leo went to the dr today,they told him,it was just fatty tissue,they wanted to put him in and drain it lol. It isn't funny,he is just a stuburn man lol,he said no ,maybe after work is all done,as in when he retires lol,that also so means after we come back fr Florida lol. There isn't much I can do,he is a grown man,just like talking to a wall sometimes though,u just can't reason with him at all. |
