Thought I'd see if I could get it back today... He's just au'crowin his little heart out.. He got the sun up, that's the main thing.

Throwing a few things in an overnight bag today..For those of you who don't know it, I'm heading to the Bonavista area tomorrow morning. Just outside Bonavista region, is a Pond that Bob is interested in with regard to getting a piece of Crown Land. Just going over to check out the region and well, Naturally, we have to go and visit our buddies..

Remember when you asked me to save you some ginger cookies Elaine. Well, little did either of us know at the time that I would be bringing them to you. Keep the kettle hot tomorrow afternoon, probably around 3. Make sure you have some 'regular' cola there for Bob..LOL.

Last week, I responded to a Freecycle post about a truck load of items suitable for a yardsale/fleamarket stuff. Well, last night we drove to get it... She wasn't kidding! Totally filled up the van with cartons and bags.. I dropped it of at the neighbours before we came home... Through her I met a family who is teaching their adopted mentally challenged 25 year old boy to learn the value of money, to make change, and to interact with people. To do that, they have weekly garden sales and friends and neighbours are very generious to them, plus the parents follow these sales themselves for him.. I know he is gonna be one happy camper when he gets to Kelligrews to pick it up... They live farther around the bay and only come this way ever so often... Makes you feel good to do something nice for somebody else... I told the lady she should also feel very good... She was glad to get clear of it all... lol

Anyway... Just had a call from Number One son and he needs his Mommy to babysit for a couple of hours... I was going to throw together a "deadly' pineapple, coconut carrot cake to take with me.. Oh Well, Not enough time now to do that... Sorry Elaine... I'll being you the recipe ....LOL...

Ladies you got to admitt that is the greatest thing you have seen today. lol lol . Carrie that is great that you are going to Bonavista tomorrow again. Wish I was going with you. Elaine that is great that you will have cola for BoB.

. No Not doing much here today . Just a bit of laundry. Man where does it all come from. Well the sky looks like it is loaded with the ssssssssss word. I think it is on the way because Ai can feel it in my bones. Yes the cold is coming and I will be in more pain for the rest of the winter. GRRRRRRRRRRR. Hope everyone has a wonderful day today.

Marg I went to Additional yesterday and they had one Beautiful dress in the store. It showed to much skin

very skimpy so I did not feel right in it. Nice thought I will keep looking and see what I can fine.

Hi Everyone ....wow sure is a big rooster Carrie & I did sing the song LOL ...Darn going to miss Carries & Bob's visit again ..I have a Dr's appointment in town on wednesday but just staying overnight ..maybe they will stay for 2 nights in Bonavista...

Hi Joy .....great post for today ...a lot of us sure do forget those who died for us ..one time we would all go to the parade but i havent done it in years ...so shameful on my part ....I went into your new group last night & you have an excellent job done there ...it is a nice room ..I was talking to Elaine & Gladys in it ..

It's back to the foyer for me today - got the top half scrubbed and ready for the paint, now I'll do the bottom half and then the prime.

We've decided on a colour for the paint and can't wait to get it done, but must, unfortunately. I haven't been able to do anything like this for years and am thoroughly enjoying it.
