Ok - we came home 6 months ago - Dick had a 'good job'. That fell apart in october but he found another in a couple of days so .... we're doing well! His new job was great - driving big tractors, typical big boy stuff. Three weeks ago he started doing irrigation with other team members ie -driving out to the paddock with the boys, setting up, driving home! Only - most of 'the boys' are mobsters, and they like to smoke stuff to keep them happy during the day. Dick doesn't!! He went and saw the boss and told him he was unhappy about the drugs smoked at work (to be honest he will have a toke or two but NOT when driving -machinery or private vehicle)  At the beginning of last week he worked out that they weren't just smoking dope (the aggression(sp) and behaviour was WAY OTT)  so bypassed the boss and went and saw the owners and told them there was no way he was going to turn a blind eye to drug use while guys were driving machinery around where it involved the public! They admitted they can't sack the drivers because they can't replace them so he walked out then and there! By the way they were behaving, we are fairly sure they are smoking P.

 

I am loath to approach the police - when he approached the manager about the dope, there were threats made, now that he's made more serious allegations, they've made (ambiguous)VERY  serious threats.  Yes I am seriously shitting myself. 

 

My question is - I have stashed cans of oven cleaner around the house (yeah I know it's dumb but we have no weapons or means of defence)

If I use them - can I be charged with using a weapon. 

 In about three weeks or so they will be harvesting/cultivating in the immediate nieghbourhood, they know where we live, and I have no idea what to do!
