If you wish to
copy a portion of a post or a whole post, to
paste to another post
(or to print it out, so you have a paper copy) follow these steps.
*First shade (highlight) the portion of the post you want to post or print, by
Putting your mouse curser at the Top left of what you wish to 'Shade'. (or at the lower right) either way will work, but you need to start at one or the other of those positions.
*Then hold down on the left button of the mouse and drag it to the opposite corner.
Important, Do Not let go of the mouse button until you reach the opposite corner of what you want to highlight.
Example: if you start at the Top Left you will need to drag to the Lower Right, before you
release the mouse button. The part you have highlighted will be black.
* Now if you are going to put it on another post, you will need to Copy it.
Press Down and Hold the Ctrl Key while you hit the C, which will copy your highlighted area.
(Ctrl plus C for Copy)
or you can use the double paper icon at the left of the yellow bar at the top of the reply window. ( place your mouse curser over it and the words 'copy text' will appear) Click to copy
Now that it is copied you will go to the next page where you wish to paste it.
(Click on your page where you want your copied portion to be. You will see the blinking line.)
*Press down on the Ctrl Key while you hit the V, this will paste what you just copied
(Ctrl plus V for Paste)
or use the brief case (folder) icon next to the copy icon. Click to paste

PRINTING
If you are going to print out a paper copy for your records, follow these steps:
'Shade' the part you want to print, by following the shading instructions above.
Now go to the word File in the upper Left hand corner of your screen and choose Print.
A box will come up with the options and you will choose 'Selection'
(which will only print that part, you have highlighted.)
Don't forget to also mark the number of copies you want, then click OK and it should print your copy.
