Record your message: NOTE make sure your speakers and microphone are turned on.
click on your start button on your computer - find Programs - accessories - entertainment - sound recorder.
Click Sound recorder

The Red button on the sound recorder will record,
the black square button will stop the recording.

When you get finished with your recording and you are satisfied with it, make it a smaller file.

*To make your voice recording file smaller, (take up less space)
When you are still at your sound recorder,
Click File/ Save As and find the place/box, where it will let you change your bit size, ( I use 8000 kHz, 16 bit Stereo )then name it and place in your files or folders where you want to save it, and click save (don't forget where you put it)

NOTE: You can't change the name, or move it around in your computer, or you will lose your link to it, so make sure that's where you want it, before you click save. (I made a seperate folder and named it wav files)

You cannot copy and paste this to another group, you must 'Attach' it seperately at each group.

To attach your file, bring up the reply window, look near the top, it says 'Attach a file' , then you browse your computer and find your file, and click on it, it will add it to the box, and you click 'attach this file'. It will take a while for it to load, so wait until you see your file name next to  'attach a file' then click send.

I hope this hasn't confused anyone. It is simpler doing it, than it is reading about it.
Have fun

I made a Wav file to show you how it works
(you may need to turn up your speakers)
Click on the gray bar at the bottom of the post

It won't play if you just open it so
Click save to your computer, and then listen.

I hope you try this too.
