Finally.......... I just got home

Annette and I went to Clark to get a few things that Tonya gave us,and wouldn't you know, the van picked today to act up, it got hot, and we limped the last 5 miles to Annettes place.  I stayed there for a couple of hours letting it cool off, then headed out on the last 15 miles for home, starting and stopping and letting it cool some, and going again.

I'm so hot and tired,
I will look tomorrow and see what I can see.
I think the thermostat stuck though. I hope that's all that's wrong.

With all the so called 'convenience' stores now, instead of service stations, you can't find anyone that knows a damn thing about engines. The people behind the counter don't even know anyone, who knows anyone, that can even talk intelligently about an engine.

I'm fed up with people and thier 'conveniences'

they can take all thier 'conveniences' and shove 'em where the sun don't shine, for all I care.........

I'm hot, and tired, and mad, and depressed, and I could go on and on and on................

I'm soooooooo glad to be home.
I just want to hide under my blankey and bawl.........

Well that was my day, how was yours?

Checked it out this morning
added some coolant and water to the radiator, checked the oil, no water in it....... whew.........
checked the transmission, and added the half bottle I had left from the last addition.
let it warm up, but it didn't show hot so the next time I go to Annettes, I'll make sure it's a weekday, so I can have it checked out by a person who maybe knows something. (unlike myself)
Until then I don't drive it anyway.
Karen

I drove to Annettes yesterday for the first time since the episode, and it acted normal, so I guess all is well. (at least for now) I just hope it isn't the lull before the storm.
I must have added the right things when i added ............
