EEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAW
Radar is home
He sat outside the front of the house and let out his siamese meow, and I thought I was hearing things.......
He is sooooooo skinny, and you can feel his backbone when you pet him, and his claws are cracked and ragged.... Poor thing
...........Butt..........

 I'm so happy
I could leap right in the computer and dance...

I don't know what Radar went through while he was gone, but every time a car or truck would go by on the hiway, just in front of our yard, he'd sit up and look, with a wild look in his eyes, and act poised to leap.
He's a lot better this morning, and his tummy is looking a lot better too. He's been eating small portions at a time, but eating often.
He finally used the litter box this morning too.
He wants to go outside so bad, but I want to wait until he has new tags and collar, and sees the vet, before I let him out.
I hate to think what he went through in the three weeks he was gone.......
I'm so happy to have him home, safe and sound.

Radar has been coughing and coughing so we took him to the vet Saturday. He has a respritory infection.
So we have to administer meds twice a day for a few days.

We also finally got him weighed Saturday too. It's the first time since he got back, he still only weighs 15.3 pounds. He must have really been skinny, because he's been gaining for two months now.

He has also been trying to teach himself how to hunt, and eat what he catches. However, wild food disagrees with him and he vomits it up. But he's at least trying.

Well that's the update on Radar

Karen

footnote: Radar is listed at the vet as weighing 18 pounds as of the last shot record in May.
his new weight is not recorded at the vets.

Radars Meds are gone but he still coughs now and then.
It isn't a hairball, it's congestion..... you can hear it when your ear is at his ribs.
I don't know what else to do for him, he's remaining thin.
