How To Build A Dog

I'm going to build me a dog,

With a sweet candy heart,

And the softest brown eyes,

Made of chocolate.

His tongue will be pink,

From a birthday cake,

And his ears from the leather

Of some shoes that I saved.

I'll give him a body

Of soft, huggable foam,

And his head will be made,

Of simulated bone.

I'll mix up some yeast,

To make him all bubbly

And soft when he's poked,

And lovey, and cuddly.

And before I'm all finished,

I'll have to clean house.

I'll vacuum the rug,

And I'll vacuum the couch,

To gather the hair,

The other pets lost.

Then I'll paste it all over,

My new,

Sweet,

Cuddly

Dog.
