One day as I went walking
I spied, upon the shore
A shell in all it's splendor
With sand upon it's floor

I know cause I was peeking
into the cave like hole
My eye was large and curious
to all the shell could hold

I saw a lake, with wind blown waves
The birds were fishing there
The sound emitted from the shell
just made me stop and stare.

The swoshing of the water there
along the tiny shore
will fill my ears with wondering
to hear forevermore

the birds call me in the horizon
the sun shines upon my shore
crabs crawl deep inside me
waves crash upon me
opening to enlightenment
no closure to the past
I feel so obliterated
I have no future ahead
wait the light it shines
upon my dry sandy shores
it tells me wait a day or so more
and i'll fins what i am looking for

Looking out upon the waves
The desperation washes away
Inspiration flows about
Can you feel me
My body so cold
Can you hold me
So I shall not be alone
Can you see me
A beast i am not
Im just lonely
And kept in the dark

Very intense.......
but with feelings of sadness.
Good work, though. I like the flow.

The whoosh of the waves as they wash the sand is so relaxing. I love to just sit here and think. I watch the Pelicans glideing through the air. Soon I hear the splash, as they hit the water.
My fishing pole is proped up on the rock, waiting for the strike of the fish, I will have for my breakfast. The birds are beginning to wake from thier sleep, and sound the greeting to all within hearing distance.
It is so peaceful here, in the early morning.
Life is good

As I look over the water I see the birds flying
I hear their calls and remember a time much simpler
when I was a young girl, embarking on a life with my new husband
we were swimming one day when we went to the lake
and I went too far out, I started to go under and he swam to save me
I was  six months pregnant with my first born and he saved my life
thats what this photo reminded me of

Love ya
Annette
