WWE Results Survivor Series-11-26-06
Legendary survivor
By Noah Starr
November 26, 2006

In an exciting match pitting old school vs. new school, WWE Legend Ric Flair emerged as soul survivor against Kenny, Johnny, Mikey and Nicky of the Spirit Squad. Flair was aided by fellow WWE Legends Sgt. Slaughter, Dusty Rhodes and Ron Simmons in the Traditional Survivor Series Match.

The sold-out arena erupted in applause as Sgt. Slaughter applied his Cobra Clutch and protested, as WWE Legend Arn Anderson was ejected from the arena. After Simmons, Sgt. Slaughter and Dusty Rhodes were eliminated, Flair proved himself a true Survivor as he outlasted the younger Superstars to emerge victorious. As soon as the match ended, all five members of the insolent Spirit Squad brutally attacked Flair before he was able to leave the ring. After so many viscous encounters, what will it take to finally put an end to the Flair / Spirit Squad
rivalry?

U.S. Champion Chris Benoit def. Chavo Guerrero
By Lennie DiFino
November 26, 2006

With his sights on the United States Championship and business manager Vickie Guerrero by his side, Chavo Guerrero came to Survivor Series with the hope defeating Chris Benoit. However, this night would not be his.
With the crowd firmly behind him, Chris Benoit was able to overcome both Vickie’s presence at ringside and Chavo’s vicious physical and mental abuse, applying the Crippler Crossface and forcing Chavo to tap out.
Now that Benoit has defeated Chavo, will the Rabid Wolverine continue his pursuit to get his questions answered as he has in previous weeks?

D-Xtreme dominance
By Louie Dee
November 26, 2006

Going into Survivor Series, many wondered if the team of DX, the Hardy Boyz & CM Punk was the greatest assemblage of talent ever. Live in

Philadelphia, that quintet certainly sent a message to any doubters, becoming the first quintet ever to survive a Traditional Survivor Series Match intact when they pitched a shutout in defeating Team Rated-RKO.
The crowd was solidly behind Team DX, erupting when CM Punk, the man Triple H called the future of ECW, asked them if they were ready. As if having the nearly 18,000 fans in the sold out Wachovia Center behind their opponents wasn’t enough, perhaps Team Rated-RKO should have seen the writing on the wall when Mike Knox was eliminated less than a minute into the match thanks to HBK’s Sweet Chin Music.
Later, after CM Punk’s elimination of Johnny Nitro and the Hardys?tandem elimination of Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms, Edge & Randy Orton found themselves at a 5-on-2 disadvantage. The World Tag Team Champions decided to live to fight another day, but the Hardys tracked them down and sent them back to the ring. After a little Sweet Chin Music, Edge was eliminated and Orton was on his own.
Three years in a row, Orton was the sole survivor on his Survivor Series team…but the fourth time wasn’t the charm for the Legend Killer. He tried to run again, only to be thwarted by the Hardys and Punk. Once Orton was brought back to the ring, DX quickly finished him off, with a Pedigree giving Triple H the final pinfall.
"This is a very talented group," HBK told WWE.com after the match. "I'm not big on records, but I'm happy that CM Punk and the Hardys were able to be part of something that went so well."

Team Cena topples the Extreme Giant
By Noah Starr
November 26, 2006

In a traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match, WWE Champion John Cena delivered an FU to the 517 pound ECW World Champion Big Show to take the win along with Bobby Lashley. It took the combined power of both Cena and Lashley to finally wear down the seven-foot Big Show.
WWE fans were on their feet and rallied for the newest Extremist, Bobby Lashley, as he returned to Philadelphia, original home of ECW. After the match, Lashley told WWE.com, “I’m looking forward to working around this area and fighting with the ECW style.?nbsp;

Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Lashley and Kane joined Cena against the Extreme Giant, Umaga, Finlay, Montel Vontavious Porter and Test. Combining athletes from all three brands, many rivals found themselves facing their antagonists head to head. Grabbing a monitor, Umaga -- the

undefeated Samoan Bulldozer -- was disqualified early in the match after dominating any who dared to face him. After an appearance by Little Bastard, Finlay was eliminated thanks to a spear by Lashley.

Cena secured the pin proving he is worthy of the title WWE Champion. Lashley began to build his own momentum as he barrels towards the Extreme Elimination Chamber at the December to Dismember pay-per-view live from Augusta, Ga., next Sunday.

Kingdom conquered
By Louie Dee
November 26, 2006

When SmackDown visited Philadelphia last January, Batista was forced to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship due to injury. At Survivor Series, his 10-month odyssey to regain the gold ended in the same arena. In front of a sold-out crowd of 17,893 raucous WWE fans at the Wachovia Center, the Animal conquered King Booker to once again reign as World Heavyweight Champion.
Batista was focused on his goal all day, telling Michael Cole in an interview “I’m leaving tonight as World Heavyweight Champion.?While the Animal signed a royal scroll on SmackDown that made this his final chance at King Booker and the gold, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long helped out his cause; prior to the match, Long announced that if King Booker was counted out or disqualified, he would lose the championship.
That stipulation nearly cost King Booker early in the match, as he had to be urged by Queen Sharmell to return to the ring before referee Nick Patrick counted to 10. It was with good reason that the King took his time, however; a focused Animal seemed to have added several new pages to his offensive playbook, using maneuvers (like the Jackhammer and the flying shoulder tackle) that many had never seen him execute before.
It seemed as if Batista had the bout won following a Batista Bomb, but the ring-savvy King was able to get his hand on the bottom rope to break the count. At that point, the Queen handed the King his gold before entering the ring to distract Nick Patrick. The Animal thwarted her efforts and appeared as if he would Batista Bomb the Queen, but thought better of it.
With Patrick trying to get the fallen Queen out of the ring, King Booker swung the gold at Batista’s head. He missed, and the challenger took advantage of the continued distraction by grabbing the gold and nailing

the King with it. One three-count later, and Booker’s Kingdom came crumbling down as the Animal was announced as the new World Heavyweight Champion.
“It feels right to be champion again,?Batista told WWE.com moments after recapturing the gold. “I would have rather lost than hand over something I worked so hard for, and I’ve walked around with a chip on my shoulder since then. Now I feel like I’m back on track. To every WWE fan, I want to say thank you for being there.?
The King wasn’t quite as gracious, summing up his bad night in one word.
“Long. Teddy Long, that is,?the King screamed. “The guy who has been trying to do everything he can to dethrone me for the last four months. Well now he has succeeded. But he can have the World Heavyweight Championship and stick it where the sun doesn’t shine, because I am still the Champion of Champions and the King of the Ring.?
Coming into Survivor Series, King Booker was the World Heavyweight Champion, arguably the No. 1 star on SmackDown and self-proclaimed “King of the World.?But after a wild night in the City of Brotherly Love, it’s now the Animal who can claim the first two titles. Hey, as Meat Loaf once said?two out of three ain’t bad.

Mickie steals Lita's thunder
By Mike McAvennie
November 26, 2006

Backstage at Philadelphia’s sold-out Wachovia Center, Lita reiterated the promise she made on last Monday’s Raw: that she would defeat Mickie James at Survivor Series, and one-up Trish Stratus by retiring as “the greatest Women’s Champion ever.?Too bad she wasn’t expecting for her career to end on her back, for Mickie to lighten her of the Women’s Championship—or for Cryme Tyme to lighten her of rather-personal belongings.
Most of the 17, 893 in attendance chanted “Lita’s done for,?but it sure didn’t look like that throughout most of the contest; the four-time Women’s Champion dominated early and often, delivering what looked like the final blow with a devastating Moonsault. Incredibly, a resilient Mickie somehow kicked out before referee Jack Doan counted to three, and then rallied back with a modified Tornado DDT to pull off an upset victory that brought the sold-out crowd to their feet.
Mickie was practically in tears as she exited the ring with her second Women’s Championship in 2006, while a disgusted Lita remained in the ring, venting her outrage at the “disrespectful?Philadelphia fans. That

is, until Cryme Tyme’s Shad and JTG came out with a carton of her
personal items. Having stolen them from her dressing room prior to the match, they declared a “Ho?Sale?on Lita’s panties, an ointment to combat yeast infections, and even her box, which JTG declared was “cheap and wide, and you can put your head in it.?As the humiliated Diva left the ring one last time, a few of her loyalists could be heard shouting, “Thank you, Lita.?BR>The new Women’s Champion was not so appreciative. “After the hell Lita’s put me through, she deserved what she got,?she told WWE.com backstage. Still clearly elated about her big Survivor Series win, Mickie James admits she has no idea what the future holds next for her. “I’m going to defend my title, try to be an awesome Women’s Champion, and do the best that I can. That’s all I can do.?BR>
Mr Kennedy Vs The Undertaker (First Blood Match)
This is the shocker of the night! Hold on here! Mr. Kennedy defeated the Undertaker. That was a turn of fate that I wasn’t expecting. Sorry for the lack of details with this match.

The most important matches tonight (in my opinion) were first, Batista defeating King Booker. Second, Chris Benoit rising above the attacks and defeating Chavo Guerrero.
Love & Best,
CoffeeQueen7047-Ass.Mgr.
