Precognition: Is the ability to know ahead of time before the actual occurrence of an event. There are three main types of precognition - clairvoyance, clairaudience, and clairsentience.

Clairvoyance: Is the most prevalent form of precognition since most people are visual. Clairvoyance means inner seeing with your mind's eye; seeing clearly that which most people can't see at all such as visions or auras. Clairvoyance is the ability to see clearly with your spiritual eyes. Seeing may be external or internal. A person who is Clairvoyant can see Spirits. This usually means they see the person communicating in their minds eye, which can be in the form of a picture or like watching a television in your head. Some clairvoyance Mediums can see Spirits with their Physical eyes as if there is another person in the same room as themselves. The Medium will then describe what they see to whoever is having a reading. It is not always people that Mediums see, it can also be animals or even objects and symbols. Some objects will be given to the Medium to be interpreted symbolically

Clairaudience: Means to hear voices or messages in one's inner ear without anyone speaking aloud. The message sender may not be present. An example of this is parents hearing a child's cry for help as they are in an accident when they are physically way too far away to be heard. This is the most common method for channelers to receive information. Clairaudience is the ability to hear with your spiritual ears and may be external sound or internal. As with mediumship the Clairaudience person hears the spirit communicating with them. Again this can be voices in the Mediums head or thoughts running through the mind. Sometimes a Medium will actually hear someone talking to them with their physical ears. The medium will not only "hear" voices but can also be given music or singing.

Clairsentience:  Is another way of saying "empathy". This means to have the emotional feeling or inner knowing of events which are unknowable. These empathic people are also called "sensitives". Some clairsentients can smell odours not present in the physical world. Extreme sensitives may feel emotional highs and lows and even physical sensations that do not belong to themselves. The trick then is discerning which moods are not your own and protecting yourself from unwanted receptivity, particularly in crowded areas or at emotional events . Clairsentience is the ability to use the senses to pick up the information from Spirit. A clairsentient may feel the presence of someone in spirit, may feel their emotions, may smell a fragrance or may be impressed with details that will identify someone in spirit. Clairsentience used in Mediumship is know to be one of the most common form and experienced very often by people just beginning to understand the gift that they have. This type of Mediumship takes the form of the Medium sensing a spirit presence, usually through feelings. Mediums often feel as if they are being touched, feelings of cold or slight breezes wafting past them. Sometimes they can have the feeling of cobwebs on their face or can even smell fragrances associated with the spirit presence of their time on earth.

Clairgustance: Awareness of an entity on the other side by the sense of taste. A sense experienced in the mouth. It could by a favorite food associated with a deceased entity, or in many instances the way a deceased person prepared the food to taste.

Telepathy: Is being able to receive thoughts from someone else in your mind. The phenomenon of the direct communication of feelings and impressions between persons at some distance from each other, without any agency other than that of mind, thought transference.

Psychometry:  Is the ability to hold an object and know about the owner and circumstances of the life the object has been in. Some psychometrists can use their skill to locate lost children and are hired by police departments to aid in investigations.

Channeling:  Is the ability to receive messages from spirits in other dimensions, such as our guides, angels, or ascended masters. Some channels, called trance channels, go out of body entirely while another spirit takes over, and some called conscious channels stay in their bodies while a spirit sends them information which they translate and share with their audience or client.

A Spiritual Medium: Can make contact with those in spirit and by using their spiritual gifts is able to ascertain and pass on information to those in the physical world. Contact with spirit is not totally dependent on the medium. It is essentially the spiritual being who will impress on the medium. Not all sensitives are mediums. A Medium is just a link between this world and the spirit world, and everybody alive has Mediumistic capabilities of some kind. Mediumship can be divided into two types, Mental Mediumship and Psysical mediumship. Mental Mediumship can be split into three more categories, Clairvoyance, Clairaudience and Clairsentience. Mental Mediumship uses our Psychic senses for the communication between the two worlds, whereas Psychical Mediumship endeavors to have those in the spirit world communicate through some Psysical means.

Psychometry: Ability and skill to receive and interpret energy patterns of people or animals by holding an object handled or worn by them. The object’s history can also be ascertained by using the same process

Psychokensis: The ability to move objects by the power of the mind

Retrocognition: Knowing by virtue of reliving (or seeing re-enacted) past events.

Xenoglossis: Ability to speak in languages that the psychic has never studied. This can be done by psychics or people in the throes of religious or emotional hysteria

Billet Reading: The ability to pick up a folded piece of paper on which are written questions and to answer the questions without opening the piece of paper

Apparitions: Appearances of non-physical beings to people

Apports: Objects that are teleported to a séance without visible method. They seem to literally drop out of thin air. They are usually small objects such as a gem.
