I had a MaineCoon once named Fluffy.

My neighbor had a British Blue Shorthair cat that used to chase the dogs around the neighborhood like that cat in the picture chasing the deer.

 

That is why Julius Ceasar invaded the British Isles with the British Blue Shorthair cats that quickly took over, they were known for mousing and killing rats.

 

The neighbor's cat was called Shadow.

 

 

Shadow would jump up on my window ledge and scratch at the window and look at me.  So I would open the door and he would walk in like he owned the place.  Then he jump up on my book shelf and sit there like a statue and look.
