If ignorance is bliss, then our country is well on the way to utopia!

You should be telling this to the CEO'S of the 'Big Three' since they flew into Washington on their private jets at a cost of approximately twenty grand per flight. Flying in on a regular carrier would have cost them two hundred dollars but they thumbed their collective noses at the public and flew in on the private jets anyway. When the media attempted to question them after their meeting with Congress, the media was summarily snubbed and no questions regarding the private jet flights were answered directly. I say these arrogant assholes hold nothing but contempt for the general public, and should be treated accordingly. They need to be held to a higher standard this time around. They must come up with a viable, workable plan to streamline the auto building business and, over a period of time, be comitted to replacing the poor managers that have helped get them into this mess in the first place.

Those are my thoughts on that.

:-)

Absolutely I think they do, do I think they care?

Nope. Not one little bit. These guy's (the CEO'S)
make sooooo much money they are so far removed
from the situations of common, working class folks,
there isn't any way possible they could relate and/or
care about them. Not even a little bit. What they did
with the private jets only serves to confirm my suspicions
about them being calloused, uncaring individuals. My
personal experienc with the UAW also taught me a
valuable lesson regarding unions vs. workers in the U.S.A.

Tax revenues increase when more people pay taxes and not when less people pay more taxes.

Look for the union label, that way you can tell if it is overpriced or not.

No matter how bad or downtrodden we feel there is always someone with a greater problem than our own.

If the "evil rich" are so bad why do so many poor people play the lottery?

and dont forget the Senate also.
Iraq, being the most important decision of America's lasat 100 years, was decided on badly (per Barak Obama) by 2 Senators which have just received a great big promotion.
