When I'm driving around in the morning, I sometimes get tired of political radio, all they talking about is the bailouts and trying to figure out if Obama will govern from the left, right, or center.
So the last two mornings I turned the dial to the other channel that has Dr. Laura.   I haven't listened to her in years, she's changed since I last listened to her.  She used to be stay married at all costs.

Now she is actually suggesting to some women that if their husband is negative to their children, maybe they should get a divorce that the children come first.

A lot of Dad's have been calling Dr. Laura in the morning.  Most of them are fathers of daughters.   Seems they are having fits over the thought of their daughters being around boys or men.
Some don't like their daughters boyfriends and don't trust them.
Another man called saying he was really upset about his 7 year old daughter being picked up her daycare providers, to spend the day in a house with "boys"    I was assuming the boys were also 7 years old.   Dr. Laura said he wasn't being responsible because he should have driven his daughter to the house and checked out the house, parents, etc.

Hmmm, so some call me a man hater, well how come men don't trust their daughters around men or boys?   Is it because they know how other men are and can't be trusted around girls.

Its your negative over simplified often unrealistic generalizations about men that make you appear to be a man hater. Just like this one....

I like listening to Dr. Laura. She puts the smack down on silly bimbo women.

Caller: "Uhhh....Dr. Laura, ummm...I am having trouble with my boyfriend"

Dr. Laura: "Yes, what seems to be the problem...?"

Caller: "Uhhh....ummm he beats me"

Dr. Laura: "So what's your problem"

Caller: "Well....I told you...he beats me..."

Dr. Laura: "If you have to call this show and ask me for advice on what to do if your boyfriend is physically assaulting you ......then you have the problem!"

Some men, and women, would warrant hating, if that emotion weren't unhealthy to hold.    Anyone who runs into a succession of hateful "partners" is clearly basing the attraction on some factor that accompanies whatever attitude they can't stand.    Most women are attracted to "bad boys," but don't understand that the real bad boys don't need to strut, and usually don't take offense easily, however, don't push them too far.    The posers like dominating and will push it as far as is allowed - until they're slapped down.     It's amazing how timid and accomodating they can become, for awhile.      A strong man, or woman, will walk away from such trash once identified.    Only the insecure will hang on and tolerate the abuse.

Dr. Laura usually gives good advise, but her subject range and suggestions are very limited.    I believe she probably gets bored responding to pained descriptions of the same situations day after day.

Bimbos you say, if I said that I would be called a woman hater.
Your right, I don't have none of these problems like these women who call Dr. Laura, as I don't put up with none of it.

Yes, and I think women who let men have sex with them right away deserve the treatment they get.   I secretly laugh at them when I am told a story.

No. I didnt make any sweeping general negative comments about the female gender. My comment was squarely aimed at some silly woman callers to the Dr. Laura show and gave an example.

you can generally assume correctly that a boy only has 1 thing on his mind.
