LAS VEGAS - O.J. Simpson, who was acquitted of the 1994 slayings of his ex-wife and her friend in Los Angeles, was sentenced Friday to at least 15 years in prison in an armed robbery case.

Clark County District Court Judge Jackie Glass sentenced Simpson after saying he was arrogant and ignorant. She said the evidence against him was overwhelming.

Earlier, 61-year-old Simpson apologized and told the judge he was sorry about trying to retrieve memorabilia that he said belonged to him. He appeared ready to break down in tears during a rambling, 5-minute declaration.

The family of Ron Goldman who was murdered with Nicole Brown Simpson in 1994, said today they hoped they had driven OJ Simpson to the crime that has put him in jail.

After Simpson was sentenced to 15 years in jail, Fred Goldman Ron’s father said: “It’s a good day for the family.?

He said he hoped the family’s relentless campaigning against Simpson contributed to the rash act that has cost him his liberty.

Apparently everyone else is too broke-up to comment against our biased and unfair judicial system yet.     Poor O.J., taken away before he could find his wife's killer in the many bars and golf courses he bravely entered in his search for the miscreant.

I was hoping to see OJ team up with Bush to find the real WMD.

I guess that's out now.

Let the mofo rot! I can't think of anyone of such high profile who deserves it more than O.J.

Obama & Rev Wright should talk to this guy about AUDACITY.

it was said OJ placed very little emotional weight in his statement to the Judge.
"whats the big deal"    "when do we get this over with"       type of statements.

oh  yea,,,, I was caught w/a gun   & witnesses testified this time.
its not the same thing where the incompetent judge throws out evidence, makes a great big deal out of the arresting detectives racism, and no witnesses were available cause their all dead.

...or he beat his wife Nicole to a bloody pulp on more than one occasion but, fortunately, she took pictures and locked them away in her lock box in the bank, whereupon her sister found them after she was killed.

OJ is the lowest form of life, in my view. Calling him scum would be a compliment. I sincerely hope he rots away and never is realeased out onto the street again.

he used his fame and race one to many times. Let him rot in prison for his crime. anyone else would have to, so why should he get away with it?
