A Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Illinois voters found that 48% say the politicians are more corrupt while just 22% hold the opposite view. Thirty percent (30%) are not sure.

There is a huge partisan divide on this question. Republicans by a 68% to eight percent (8%) margin say politicians are more corrupt. Voters not affiliated with either major party share that view four-to-one. However, Democrats are evenly divided: 34% say CEO’s are more corrupt, 31% say it’s the politicians, and 36% are not sure.

No huge surprise here considering the trouble being seen now with Rod Blagojevich and remember, people do not refer to "Chicago politics" that way for no reason

How often have we heard: "Yeah, he's a crook, but he's MY crook!" ?

Well. you would expect republiskanks to defend CEO's!  After all, they represent the "DADDY" authority figure which is sacred to republiscums.

So who do you propose to run the asylum Eppie, the inmates? Every business must have a leader so why do you condemn all CEO's and blame them for all failure? If you own or run a company and the workers come to you and say if you do not pay us this we will not work, and you know that the price they are asking will put you out of busines, what do you say?

Seems the Big 3 said "OKay, we'll pay your extortion."    Our government set-up ths mess trying to put people who couldn't afford mortgages in homes they couldn't afford, then forced the banks to make sub-prime loans to people who couldn't pay the money back.     With free money, cars were bought by people who couldn't afford them.   The ponzai scheme came tumbling down - as all such have to.   There's not enough money to bail everybody out and we're far along that road paved with good intentions.     Heard a weather forecast today that predicts a mulit-year draught across the MidWest.     On top of our financial collapse, the dust-bowl is coming back.    Another aspect of the "Great Depression," but this time we're not on the gold standard and our money won't be worth anything.     Obama's "universal health care" just may become universal soup lines.     Hang on folks.

And you would expect liberal scum to defend savage behavior. After all, they represent the "social justice" model that there must be something logically wrong with them so they dont have to be accountable for their behavior.

And it is telling how Eppie is curiously missing in action from the thread about the corrupt dem Illinois governor. Seems corruption is only worth commenting on when its a rep.

DDuct!  PERFECT!!  Your comment about "running the asylum" is a perfect illustration of the CONTEMPT for workers which is manifested in strictly authoritarian leadership.  Most American CEO's are cut from this very moronic mold.
