Islam has always sanctioned crucifiction - among other things; like cutting-off opposite foot and hand, cauterizing the wounds, blinding the individual and throwing him on hot rocks to die of thirst.     Tying someone down and building a fire on his chest is also sanctioned.      Castration is common.     Female captives are invariably raped - except those pregnant or in their periods.    Beheading usually follows when the "holy warriors" get bored with their play on male captives; they just pass around the females.

 

I wonder where we get off trying to impose our idea of humane treatment on people who do not subscribe to the "Golden Rule"?!!!!     "Humane" treatment is a very personal concept and we know how Muslims treat those in their power.     Communication requires a common understanding: we don't move into a tribal area and insist they follow rules from our culture, we adapt to theirs when dealing with them.   Why should dealing with Muslims be any different?
