I am really terribly disappointed in you slslady. To make the racist
connection that you make to Barack Obama just because you dont like him
political really says a lot about you.

Its disgusting and foul. I thought you were way more of stand up person than that but you proved me to be wrong, so good luck with all those things and
sharing those feelings with Iron Panda and SecondSon an DragonEyes.

You really ought to feel ashamed of yourself by lowering your standards to theirs!

Well, come on Doc, put up or take your accusations back. Show me where I have said I wouldn't vote for Obama because he is black.
Or else people will see that You are playing the reverse racial card, and that you would vote for him just because he IS black.
Show what you are considering as to why he should be president beyond his color.
I've given my criteria for what I'm looking for in a president, let's see yours.

I didnt say that you wouldnt vote him because he was black. Why would
you assume that?

Youre statement in regards to him being connected to Hamas and other terrorists
groups is suggestive of only one thing...you make that association because of his
name. In there lay the racist angle, IMO, you against Muslims.

Obama is not a Muslim, he is not involved in or with terrorist organizations.
On the whole, of the 1 billion & change Muslims in the world, 1 billion of
them are not terrorists.

To make such a claim against a United States senator is, as I stated, foul!
For you to jump on the band wagon with the rest of these dirtbags is just
really disgusting.

You dont like him because of politics, be my guest, attack him all day long.
When you go there, race, you cross a line. Like I said, I just thought of you
to be way better than that.

Have I ever said Obama was a muslim? No. I have not.  Am I concerned that Islamic extremeists support him? yes, as well as everyone should be. That he has renounced their endorsement is a good thing, don't you think?
Have I ever said his name makes him a muslim? No I have not. If he has queustionable ties that come out, he should stand up and say why he has no part of it, just like he did when he fired one of his advisors for meeting with Hamas. Does that make HIM racist against Muslims too?
Have I ever said all muslims are bad? No, I have not, in fact I specify extremeists vs moderates.
So specification of different sects of a religion is being racist?
So I am a racist because I don't believe in the extreme muslim idealism of killing themselves along with innocent people to achieve martyrdom as being acceptable?
So I am a racist because I don't like some of the FLDS practices involving young girls?
So I am a racist because I don't approve of the catholic church covering up child molestation?
So I am a racist becuase I don't like illegals, even though part of my family is of mexican or black or phillipino heritage?
So I don't understand where you have come up with the idea that I have "jumped on the bandwagon" as you so put it.
Now, I would love to hear your reasons for wanting  Obama to be voted in as president without all the racial references.

This is what YOU said:

He must have had Hamas and Hezbollah on his mind!

Now why in the hell would he have them on his mind when he made
a mistake about about 57 vs 47 states.

An before you say it was a joke, its not a joke.

Would it be unusual for him to have them on his mind considering the current conflicts that are arising by both these entities?

C'mon Doc. would it be unusual for a US senator to have the conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon on his mind?

i agree with you ucla, up to a point.

but as far as i can se, salelslady's "standards" have remained constant.  i don't think she has got ""more racist" - she has merely become a bit more verbal about it.

she wa like this, even on the old board.

NO she wasnt. Thats a friggin lie. Just because you dont agree or dont share similar points of view is no reason to lie and slander someone.....your getting pathetic. I think youve regressed.

Not to mention he's trying to shrug off the fact that Hamas endorses him.

Never vote for the guy your enemy endorses.

Sls, please. You are not talking to Iron Panda. If you actually
think Im going to believe that is what you meant by that comment, then youre way more silly than I thought.

You, like all your other buddies here think Obama is a muslim or tied to terrorist or something. Ive never seen a man attacked
more for things he did NOT say or do than Barack Obama.

You know, just try to stick to politics and leave the other crap out!

Doc,
I see the overall pictures. I try to read everything from Fox, to Raw story.
Truthout to CNS. Both sides of the picture and then some.
My problem? I have seen every loop but the bottom line from Obama.
I want to see issues addressed. Not a sermon. or a platitude.
Promises haven't helped our country or citizens.
Been there, done that, with the election of a democratic majority congress in 2006.
The President holds veto powers, but the congress is supposed to hold the power of the people, and I see it as the failure of those legislative entities. They do not represent what American citizens want. And neither does the farce of the presidential election.

huh?  who (besides you) said that??  what kind of adage it is it?  or did you just make it up.

what do endorsements by enemies say, at all, about obama himself?

Froggie, if you can't figure out the logic in that, I feel sorry for you.

Common sense says that you don't want the thing your enemies want- especially when your enemies want you dead.

common sense tells me that endorsements, by my enemies, say nothing about my ideas, at all.

they may say something about them, but they are not the resultof my thoughts, at all.

i think you are trying to say that because hamas "enorsed'" obama (which is not true, but we shall assume so, for a minute) - he is in agreement with him.

of course, that is a complete lie, and you know it.

and remember, it was not hamas that "endorsed" obama, it was one prominent member of hamas who endorsed him, on his own - not in the name of the political party, or the terror organization, called hamas.

Froggie, the fact that they support him shows that they believe he will serve their interest in some way, and your enemy's interest is not what's best for you.

You're an ignorant fool with no concept of reality if you think that there isn't a problem with a candidate who is favored by your enemy.

You don't want the guy that your enemy wants you to have. Your enemy wants you to lose, so don't pick the guy that your enemy thinks will make you lose.
