Bulphrog,

If you will promise to keep the Katrina and New Orleans info limited to one thread and not drag other threads back to those two subjects I think we can come to some kind of agreement on the combining of threads. I'll talk to the other managers and get them to leave it alone. Personally I think this whole thing is getting way out of hand but it will take an agreement by both parties to make it work. The whole COE thread has become one big mess and it would take days to sort it out. If you want to start a new thread combining those two subjects I'll try to get the rest to back off.

I'm also tired of all of the back and forth disrupting threads on other subjects. I'm asking everyone to bring those discussions here and quit the petty bickering.

i do not mind posting routine stuff in that katrina thread, but i reserve the right to post important new stuff, stand alone.  and, if the situation had not been so screwed up, i would have complied with that rather reasonable request long ago.

do you think you can get puppy dog to repost the dozens of other threads of mine that he has deleted, out of spite, during the past few days?

especially the ones NOT on katrina?  there have been a lot of deletions, of legitemate threads and posts.  i am not talking about my "request for information" posts - they can remain gone, as long as you are willing to answer the questions.,

look at post 12, in the COE mismanagment thread, where i asked willy, saleslady, and the others for consideration, NOT to fuck up that thread, so it COULD be that "single thread" you are offering, now, as a settlement.

and that request was early in the process, where resolution would be easy.  and that request for consideration was denied.  that was the exact point when i considered that i did not need to be considerate either.

btw, puppy dog has deleted a lot of "legitemate" threads out of the COE mismanagment" thread also - posts that included links etc that we need to discuss the situation..  they need to go back in.

Bul,

I've been watching what's been going on and I've seen what's happened to the COE thread. I don't have a lot of time online these days and I would have tried to do something sooner. It has been back and forth between you and second for some time now and we should be able to cut through the bullshit and start over. I'll try to go through the COE thread and find all of the messages with links and any deleted ones I can find and post them on a new thread. It won't be right now but I'll try to do it later on.

If you want to start a separate new thread for Katrina and New Orleans, do so. If you want to post new information for those two it makes no difference if it is on a separate thread or not since posting it on an old thread still bumps it to the top and people will read it.

The other managers have agreed to stop all of this if you will stop posting new threads on the same basic subject every day. For most of us the New Orleans situation is old news. I know it is close to your heart and you are very passionate about letting everyone know what's going on there. Just try to keep it to one thread with updates and we should be able to all get along.

As for deleting threads on other subjects, that will end. The main issue is to keep those threads free of discussion of other threads and other decisions.

I enjoy debating you when everyone sticks to the subject but once one starts throwing barbs and everyone else chimes in it ruins some of the better threads until I get bored and move on. I've got to run but consider what I've said and we can discuss it further later.

i have stopped, i am trying to get saleslady to restore the legitemate posts that were deleted (there were MANY last night, and the links are integral to the discussion) but she is balking.  apprarently she has not got themessage.

that is a shame.  americanas are suffering every day, dying even.

i have no problem with that.  never did.  in fact, i only got militant after i asked, in post 12, for some consideration from saleslady and puppy dog, in not fucking up the COE mismanagment thread.  they went ahead anyway, and (intentionally, it seemed, from their posts) forced a changed of topic to katrina, when i wished to discuss specifically COE mismanagment.  AND THAT WAS AFTER I ASKED THEM NOT TO DO THAT.

so the "conversion" of that thread, from COE mismanagment, to a generalized thread on katrina, was their idea.

oh, and dduct, i can not understand why this story is not utile here, simply because it is "old".  there are thousands of americans suffering wrongs, in my city, and i would think that every day that happens, makes it a new story again.  at the least, to humans.
