I, Barnabas

Midnight  A hush fall through
the melancholic halls of Collinwood.
A solemn moon casts Dark Shadows
over the placid stillness
of the Old Mansion

I, Barnabas lie in deep sleep
on my bed of purple velvet.
Asleep but awake to your thought,
your feelings, your desires.
Alone and cradled by the presence
of your mind.

I hear your call
I feel your yearning
I know that you want me
I know that you need me

Your pressing weight of long
lost time lies heavily upon me.
The deepening gloom that covers me,
binds me in my subtle curve.

I hear you call
I feel your yearning
I must go to you

I struggle to free the invisible
chains that bind me.
I search in the embalmed
darkness where nebulous lights that would lead me to you.

I hear your call
I feel your yearning
I am with you.

SHADOWS OF THE NIGHT

Shadows of the night, calling silently
Echo of the past
Calling you to me
Haunting memory
Bathed in mistic glow
Phantom melody
Playing soft and low
This world that we know now

Life is here, then gone.
But somewhere in the afterglow
Love lives on and on
Dreams of long ago

Meet in rendezvous
Shadows of the Night
Calling me to you
Calling me to you

I'll be with you always

I'll be with you always
ever, forever
I'll always be near you
Though far away

With my love beside you
You won't be lonely
We'll meet again Dear
Some distant day

So don't be afraid
Of the future unknown
for I am at your side
You are never alone

I'll be with you always
ever, together
Enternally bounded
Never apart

I'll be with you always
ever, together
Enternally bounded
Never apart

always
never apart
always

A very unique and interesting mind; clearly empathic, but no suggestion or evidence of being psychic.

Yes, a lot of things I have thought or dreamt came true.

I am not predicting the election though, I do predict the Islamic terrorists around the world will be celebrating and the Palestines will be giving out candy, if Obama wins.  You don't have to be psychic or a Witch to know that, just listen to talk radio, FOX News, and read Townhall, etc.

Second Son I have the whole series on DVD from the first show to the last.  I also have CDs of the music from Dark Shadows, the above naraations were done to music.

That Quentin Collins, David Selby is my favorite.    He was the man that turned into a Werewolf once a month with the fullmoon.

Angelique and Carolyn Collins were my favorite female characters, they wouldn't take any crap from anyone.   Angelique was a beautiful Witch.  Don't want to mess with Angelique.

Picture #2 looks a lot like Josette Collins.  The hairstyle in picture #1 looks sort of like the way they wore their hair in the late 1790s.
Angelique wore her hair all in long ringlet type curls.

Maggie Evans in the 1960s and 1970s, and Josette Collins in 1790s.
Looks just like her.

Neither the wife nor I could ever get interested in Dark Shadows.    We do have one hellacious collection of "classic" horror on DVD; our all-time favorite is Abott and Costello meet Frankenstein.      Our current favorite (the wife calls: Vampire porn) is HBO's True Blood.      When DVDs are available, the series will be ours.

(# 13) Thanks dear lady, but I'm already a fan of Dexter.     The wife won't watch it, so I won't add the series to our DVD collection.
