How many of you are into college basketball? Looks like it's turned into another popularity and feelgood show similar to the political arena. The brackets were announced yesterday with the regular big names included as well as a lot of first time entries. Teams from conferences that were not even around a few years ago now get wutomatic bids simply because they are conference champs from such powerhouse leagues as the American East (UMBC), Ivy League (Cornell), MAAC (Siena), Mid-American (Kent State), Missouri Valley (Drake), NE (Mt St Mary's), Ohio Valley (Austin Peay), Patriot (American), and others.

Yes these teams have "great records" but who did they play to get them?

Meanwhile many of the teams that compete day in and day out in leagues that play real basketball get left out because they destroy each other's chances.

That's life, we don't want any hurt feelings on the part of the little guys so we must let them play!

On with the show!!!!

My prediction is UNC and MSU in the final with UNC taking it.
