here are several ways to do blinkies,
this is my way as you go you will learn different ways
copy and save this blinkie template to your computer more templates are available for download
click on the magic wand and select the black line and squares
flood fill with any color that you like
at this time you can give it an inner bevel if you want too
use color that match the image that you are going to be usiing
now go to selections and select none
go back to the magic wand click inside every other white sqaure box then flood fill it
go to layer and merge visible
Have animation shop open
copy and paste as new image in animation shop
back to PSP
undo what you just did back down to all white squares
now you are going to do the very oppsite squares just as before
use the magic wand click on side the white squares and flood fill with the same color and before
now merge visible and copy and go to animation shop and paste this image after the 1st image
( right click on the first image and paste 2nd image after current image)
now click on veiw animations and it should be blinking
TO ADD AN IMAGE TO YOUR BLINKIE:
you have 2 frames of the blinkie
you HAVE to have to 2 frames of the still image
now that you have the same number of animated frames and the same number of still frames,
click on the still image go to edit and select all
now go to your animated image(blinkie) right click on the top bar and select paste into selceted frame
place it where you want it and then click on view animation and you should have an animated blinkie tag with image
