first you will need to download the filter or plugin that you are going to install unzip it if it is a zipped folder
TIP:

I save all my plugin and filters to my desk top that way they are easy to find when i get ready to iinstall them

Now some filters/plugins may only be simple files such as 8bf

Now go to my computer: C: Drive go to Program Files open it up
find your PSP program If you have 7,8, 9, you will see jasc any higher will be Corel

now click on that folder:
inside you will see many folders find the folder that is called "Plugins"

now copy and paste the plugin/filters into that folder
some plugins may be self extracting if so then you have to point them in this same path direction ok

DO NOT HAVE ANY PSP PROGRAM OPEN WHILE INSTALLING FILTERS/PLUGINS

Once you have pasted the files in there close out everything and then you open your PSP program up and you will see the plugins in there
Nip
