Note: This tutorial was written on using the font website DaFont.com, other websites may vary in how to download.
Note: It is necessary to create a Fonts folder in your Documents before beginning this tutorial.
Right click on the font that you want to download
Click “Save Target As”
When a box pops up and prompts you to save the file click “Save”
(If not already done) Uncheck the box in the download window that says “Close this dialog box when download completes”
When it says “Download complete” click the “Open” button
When your Fonts folder comes up click on the button that says “Extract all files”
A new window should pop up called “Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders”
(If not already done) Uncheck the box that says “Show extracted files when complete”
Click “Extract”
A window should pop up showing you that the files are extracting, and then disappear leaving you at your fonts folder
Click on your “Fonts” folder at the top
You should then see your fonts
The zipped folder of your font should already be highlighted but that's not the one you want
You want to click on the other font with the open folder picture. This font should be the same name as the one you downloaded except should have a open folder picture next to it instead of a zipped folder.
Once you have doubled clicked your open folder font
You should see a “True Type Font File” titled with your font name.
Click on this file to select it and then...
Right click this font file and then click “Install”
A window for Windows Vista might pop up asking if you want to continue. Click “Continue”
And you should have now installed you font! I hope this tutorial was a help to you! If you have any issues or questions please leave a message in this discussion.
