[really basic/bare bones, so you get the gist...I'd do my "official" one a bit differently]  Hello, and welcome to my little corner of our terrific group! My name is Kirsten, obviously, and I'm very happy to have found such a great place to "hang out". ;-p I'm 45, tho' I have no idea how that happened, and I rarely feel like it! (Some days, however, I feel like I'm about 85, so I guess it's all relative...) I live north of Boston near the New Hampshire border, with my sweet patootie -- whom I met online nearly 9 years ago! :D We are in the excrutiatingly slow process of rehabbing a 1920's Cape Code home. We have a mutt named Max who is the light of our lives. We are in the process of becoming certified to foster/adopt through the Department of Social Services. We both love computers, and reading is a huge part of our lives. (ALL our lives! lol) We are very fortunate to genuinely like each other in addition to being smitten, so I think my life is pretty great! We both have a pretty warped sense of humor, which is probably the only reason we've survived 7 years of home improvement projects!! ;-p Looking forward to sharing more with you, and reading about each of you and your lives!
