this is my version of this tutorial

what you need:

Supplies: click on the above tag for them

a tube of your choice

 

open all of them up in PSP

 

Open a new file 650 x 500 white bkg

now add new layer

copy the frame to your new canvas

add a drop shadow

settings: Hort. and Vertical 0

blur 2

opacity 100

color black

 

go to layers and duplicate the frame layer

arrange them so they are side by side

 

not too far apart we are making a double frame ok

 

copy and paste the stiches as new layer on your frames,

if you need to move your frames to make it look right then do so

 

copy and paste the screws as new layer on the frames and add the same drop shadow

 

now hide the bkg layer (the white layer)

then merge all other layers visible

 

now unhide the white bkg

 

highlight the merged layers

click on your magic wand tolerance set at 20

click inside of your frame holding the shift button down so you can do both sides

 

go to selections modify expand by 5

 

go to your tube and copy it

paste as new layer on the frames use the mover tool to place it like you want it

keep selected

go to selections and invert

hit the delete button on your keyboard

this will get rid of the extra parts of the tube

 

go to the dark roses copy and paste them as a new layer arrange them the way you want them

add new layer and fill this layer with a matching color

give it any textures that you like

 

move this layer to the bottom

 

the light colored roses are used as a mask you can use them or not

to use as a mask do this:

when you fill your new layer then go to layers new mask layer from image and click on the roses

now make sure the inverted is NOT checked

merge group

now you have a masked layer

 

extra tips: add your custom brushes to give it that extra sweet look
