Painting with a tube

1. Open a new transparent file 500x500
2. Click on your font tool
settings:
create as: floating
font, something chunky
size, 120
stroke width 1.0
3. Set your top box (foreground color) to black
and your bottom box (bkg color) to any color you like
4. Click inside your image and type your text.
5. With marching ants still around your text, go to selections modify, contract 1.
6. Click on your picture tube tool, and choose a tube.
7. Now take your mouse into the inside of the marching ants
and start clicking.
8. You can make your tube painting as sparse or dense as you want to.
9. Crop your image down to size around the text.
10. Now, click on the bottom layer, choose a background color and floodfill the layer.
11. If you wish to put a drop shadow on your text, click back on the top layer.
Go to: effects, 3d effects, drop shadow
(I used V&H 2 Opacitiy 100 and blur 4.00)
12. Export as a jpeg.
