Making and Exporting a frame in psp

Items needed
Tube or mist of your choice
Corner tube of choice
Plug-in Simple/top left mirror.  (it can be done without the plug-in but is much easier with.)

Ok, lets get started
1.                  Add a layer and move down below tube.  Flood fill with color of choice.
2.                  Hit shift + d to duplicate your tube and background. Minimize for later.
3.                  Go to Image/add borders, I usually add 10 pixels symmetrical as it is a nice size.
4.                  Get magic wand, set tolerance to 10 and select your border.
5.                  Flood fill with your choice.  Gradient or wood pattern, something that will look nice around your picture.
6.                  Go to Effects/3d/inner bevel use the following settings, or settings of your choice.
                     Bevel: pillow or #2
                     Smoothness:           40
                     Depth:        2 
                     Ambience:  0     
                     Shininess:    10
                     Color:         White
                     Angle:         315
                     Intensity:     55
                     Elevation:    25
                  a.        
7.               Go to Selections/Select all.
8.               Go to Selections/Modify/Contract 10 enter
9.               Go to Layer/Promote to Layer
10.             Hit your delete key one time.
                  a.       Don’t panic, your picture was supposed to disappear.
11.             Go to Selections/select none
12.             Go to Image/Add borders and add 25 symmetrical.
                  a.       Your background will turn white now again this is normal and ok.
13.             Get your magic wand, same settings.  Select your new border
14.             Flood fill with your choice of pattern or color.
                  a.      There are many choices that you can make here.
                  b.      If you want to add a butterfly, flower, etc to your large frame border
                           i.      Open a small tube in psp and place your foreground on pattern.
                          ii.      Scroll to the top of your patterns and select your butterfly or other tube that you have open.
                         iii.      Set your angle to 45 and your Scale to 10 or 25 whatever looks the best to you.
15.              Selections/Select none.
16.              Go to Image/Add borders 10 symmetrical.
17.              Select with Magic wand
18.              Flood fill with the same thing that you filled your first border with.
19.              Effects/3d/Inner Bevel same settings.
20.              Selections/Select none.
21.              Go to Layers/Promote to Layer
22.              With magic wand, click inside of the white background area.
23.              Hit delete key one time.

Adding your corner to your frame.
1.                  On your corner tube, right click on top bar and click copy.
2.                  Go to your frame image, right click in the top bar and click paste/as new layer
3.                  With your mover tool, place the corner in the TOP LEFT CORNER.
4.                  When you have it where you want it. Go to Effects/Plug-ins/Simple/Top Left Mirror.
               a.       To get this effect without the plug-in.
                                                              i.      Place your corner where you want it.
                                                             ii.      Go to layers/duplicate
                                                            iii.      Image/mirror.
                                                            iv.      Layers/duplicate
                                                             v.      Image/flip
                                                            vi.      Layers/duplicate
                                                           vii.      Image mirror.
Go to Layers and Merge visible.

Exporting/Saving your frame for reuse in psp7
1.                  Double-Click on the save icon
2.                  Double-Click on the drop down arrow
3.                  Double-Click on Drive C
4.                  Double-Click on Program files
5.                  Double-Click on Jasc Software Inc
6.                  Double-Click on Paint Shop Pro 7
7.                  Double-Click on Frames
8.                  Name your file, something unique as this is your creation
                     a.       I.E. MaryJ pink butterfly frame.pfr (.pfr very important)
9.                  Click save.
