All of the these tutorials were created by me, using Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop. All ideas are copyrighted to me as these are my own original designs. Any similarity to another tutorial is coincidental. Please do not post them on another site, rewrite or claim them as yours.

you need a copy of PSP and Animation shop for this tut

ok let's get started;

Open PSP up and make a new file
Size 150 x 125 transparent bkg
go to your color palette and pick a gradient that you like;
use the setting
Style: Linear Gradient
Angle: 153 degrees
now flood fill your new file with this

add a new layer; add your text
I used New Times Roman size 10
center you text
go to layers and convert your layer to raster

add a new layer and add any tubes that you want to this, add a new layer for each tube

go to layers and merge all flat

add a border of 5 pixels you can pick the color you want for the border
grab the magic wand and select the border
we are going to give it a inner bevel
go to effects--inner bevel and use these setting:

Photobucket

Now leave selected and give it a drop shadow:

Photobucket

now save your image and open animation shop

open the file that you just saved

now for the hard part;

right click on your image and click on "Insert Image Transtion"

Use these settings:

Photobucket

Don't click ok just yet we need to do a little customizing ok, click on customize and use these settings:

Photobucket

Now click Ok

we are almost finished

at this point click on preview animation and you will see that it is only going 1 way, we are going to fix this now

click on the first layer of your image

go to edit and select all

go back to edit and click copy

back to edit and paste as new animation

now you will have 2 sets of your image,

on one of them got to the top bar and click on animation and go down to where it says reverse frames; click that:

Photobucket

this is the tricky part ok

we are going to paste one set after the other set;

on one of your images hit ctrl + a + c ( this selects all the frames)

now go to your other set of frames click on the last on which should be Number 12

Photobucket

Now go to the frame the one that is showing up completly and set the frame properties to 50

now click on preview animation and if you are satisfied then save it

enjoy
